Quick n Easy Homemade Biryani Recipe

Bhurani Raita


Boondi Raita is a healthy and delicious accompaniment made with yogurt and Boondi (small fried balls made of chickpea flour) and it goes very well with Indian meals.

Ingredients

  1. Boondi 100 grams
  2. Yogurt 1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Fresh coriander leaves 2 tablespoons
  6. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Step by Steps

    Step 1

    Whisk yogurt till smooth. Add salt, half the roasted cumin seed powder and half the chopped coriander leaves.Add boondi and mix well.

    Step 2

    Garnish with the remaining roasted cumin seed powder, coriander leaves and red chilli powder and serve chilled.

    Tips

    1. If the yogurt is thick, then whisk with some water to make a slightly thin consistency.

    2. The spice powders can be adjusted as per your taste.
